Noa’s Healing Journey
Cheyne Goulden is one of our fantastic practitioners, helping people to overcome chronic dis-ease, and grow in their understanding of the causative factors behind their health issues. Last year, Cheyne helped the lovely Noa to begin her detox journey in what has been a truly transformational experience. Let’s hear about it from Noa herself:
Noa’s Story
“Today marks one year since our first consultation and I just wanted to send you an email saying thank you for your help along my healing journey. This has definitely been the hardest year of my life, true healing requires so much patience, time and acceptance.
This year I feel as though I have found abundance where previously I saw nothing, and more than anything it has given me more purpose and strength than I could have ever imagined. I remember this day last year, I was filled to the brim with so much fear and anxiety for what lay ahead. An hour before we spoke I broke down crying in my mother’s arms, my face burning and weeping, I knew I had to keep going but was struggling to put one foot in front of the other…
After we spoke I just remember feeling so much more at peace with everything, still apprehensive but clear on the path I needed to walk and where I was headed. You taught me not to run, but to pace myself – one of the hardest lessons one can learn while detoxing and healing.
One year later… my skin is almost completely healed, asthma gone forever, hair that had fallen out during detox regrowing, weight stable at 48kg, energy levels better than ever, kidneys starting to filter.
Just six months ago I was healing, but rarely left the house, was still fatigued, didn’t want to put on clothes, spent my days sitting on towel in a t-shirt and still feared eating fruit all day because I didn’t want to go into a healing crisis…Still, I found peace during this period and found solace in preparing healing salads and herbal soups, painting, meditating or watching Dr. Morse videos – focusing on what I was abundant in, within the present moment…
Now I’m back working 2-4 days a week, eating fruit all day, a big salad and a bit of sweet potato at night, seeing friends regularly, going on nature walks and cycling, I’m not completely healed yet, but I’m so close – Even 4 months ago I would come home fatigued just after a 2 hour walk, now I’ll go do a six hour work day, on my feet all day, then come home, go cycling for 40 minutes and sometimes prepare dinner for my mother and myself and sleep quite peacefully…No heat rashes, no wheezing, no coughing, no spending an hour in the mirror caking on makeup to cover up broken capillaries before leaving the house…
I have started to feel what is like to be free, to have a strong, healthy body which serves me, which is low maintenance… This to me, is sheer freedom.
In a single year my body has been both at its weakest and strongest points – from being 37 kg, barely able to walk or having enough breath to speak – to running, cycling, working and soon studying – just by eating fruits and veggies and taking some herbs… I have so much trust in my body now, more than anything I feel it trusts me.
So thank you Cheyne, for helping me through this year. While it is true nobody could heal me except myself, you’ve been such a guiding light on my journey ♥
Healing is so real and so possible and I can’t wait to get out there and help spread this message of true health – no idea how yet, but I just trust I’ll find my way.
Peace and gratitude, Noa.”
What an amazing story! Cheyne also has his story to share about guiding Noa along her healing journey:
“I’m so proud of Noa and thrilled for what she has been able to achieve. Noa’s amazing healing journey was an incredible thing to be a part of and there is much that we all can learn by reflecting on it. I will always remember our first Skype call when we had her first consultation and I saw the severity of her condition. My heart went out to her. I could feel her pain and her frustration but I could also feel her determination to heal. Her skin was suffering tremendously but her spirit was so courageous and determined. We spoke about the importance of the warrior spirit that she would need to tap into and she did that so well.
She shows us how intense the healing crisis can be and the extreme courage that is needed to break through. When she started the protocol things got worse before they got better. It would have been easy to give up and stop the process but Noa had the commitment to stick with it. She shows us all what is possible when you commit to the process. She went through hell for an extended period of time but didn’t give up. She was using a jar of healing salve per day due to the extreme pain all over her body.
Noa had an amazing attitude. She kept learning, watching Dr Morse videos, studying and booking in for regular follow up appointments and was continuously learning. She took the leadership role in her healing process. She became the expert. As the consultations went on she would tell me exactly what the issue was, and I would then just confirm her thoughts and add a few things here and there.
Noa had been using steroidal creams and medication to suppress the acne on her face for many years so in this way she can remind us of the costs of using medications to treat symptoms, and how things get worse if you don’t fix the cause. She also shows us that anything can be regenerated if you fix the cause.
Noa now has her life back and is an example of possibility and truth to anyone out there dealing with similar issues. It’s been such a pleasure working together and I am excited for what the future holds for Noa. I think she would make an amazing detoxification specialist.”
